How to Season Your CampBoss Camp Oven
To get the best performance, season your camp oven before first use.
Before First Use:
- Wash thoroughly with warm, soapy water.
- Dry completely with a clean paper towel.
Seasoning Process:
- Coat all surfaces (oven, lid, and trivet) with cooking oil or fat.
- Wipe off excess oil with a clean paper towel.
- Place in a BBQ with the lid closed, or use a conventional oven/campfire coals (Be mindful of smoke detectors indoors!).
- Heat until hot and slightly smoking.
- Before cooling completely, wipe off any excess oil inside with clean paper towels.
After Every Use:
- Wash with warm, soapy water and mild detergent.
- Dry thoroughly and lightly coat with cooking oil before storing.
